Course information and certificate requirements:

  • The classes as well as the exercises will be held in English.
  • Exercises will consist of practical and theoretical tasks. Practical exercises will be done in C++ with OpenCV and OpenGL.
  • During the Exercises, you will implement your own little AR project for which you can get bonus points for the exam.
  • The lecture consists of one final exam, which will be hand written and aclosed-book exam (no notes allowed), no repeat exam
  • The final exam will be based on the lectures content and the theoretical exercises.
  • The exam is closed book. The only thing you can bring is a non-programmable calculator.

  • 23/05/2016: The final exam will take place on the 4th of August from 4:30 pm to 6pm in 00.02.001, no repeat exam
  • 07/06/2016: Bonus Project announced (please see below)
  • 01/09/2016: Exam Inspection on the 1rst of September from 10am to 10:30am in room MI 03.13.010

Bonus Project

We announced that you will be able to earn a bonus of 0.3 points to your final grade by implementing a small, medical related demo project using AR marker tracking. You can base the project on the marker tracking code implemented during the exercises, or on any other AR library, e.g. AR Toolkit. You can either do the project alone or form groups of up to 3 people.

Please register your group before Wednesday, 15th of June, with the names of all group members. During the next exercise session on the 16th of June, you or your group will have to present ONE slide about your project idea. The presentation of the demo will take place on the 14th of July.
