(For CSE students, this lecture is credited with 2 ECTS with the restriction that it has to be taken together with either the Computer Aided Medical Procedures lecture or the 3D Computer Vision lecture.)

The lecture is given in English.

Lecture and exercise: Thursday 4:15 pm - 7:15 pm, MI 03.013.010.
If necessary we will move to MI 03.013.008.

  • The repeat exam will take place on April 8, 9:00 - 10:30, in MI 03.13.010.
  • Both exams will be closed book exams! No material will be allowed!
  • A very preliminary version of the linear algebra part is available!
  • Exam on February 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. in MI HS 2

Overview

Not only for the developement but also for the application of many image processing techniques and computer vision algortihms a deep mathematical understanding is of fundamental importance. This lecture aims in providing interested students with a solid mathematical basis for imaging and visualization applications.
