Description

In soccer, many tactical manoevers are known and studied. Trainers repeatedly discuss such tactics with their playery. In particular, they discuss the individual tactical behavior of players after a match.

In collaboration with master students of Prof. Veit Senner (Fakultäten für Maschinenwesen and Sportwissenschaften) this thesis will develop Virtual-Reality-based schemes to present tactical information to players in ego- and exocentric visualizations.

Requirements

  • Solid programming knowledge (C#, Java, and/or c++)
  • Unity 3D or equivalent game engines / rendering systems
  • Ability to work independently, systematically and creatively
  • Basic experience in virtual reality and/or augmented reality
  • General interest in topics related to athletic training
