Workshop on Camera Augmented Mobile C-arm

A Historical Event in Medical Imaging: CAMC successfully introduced in operating room

camcFirstDay1 After extensive preclinical testing finally CAMC has been moved into the Operation Room of Innenstadtklinikum at Nußbaumstraße. Over 40 Patients were treated successfully with CAMC-navigation support between 07.2009 and 03.2010 at Chirurgische Klinik und Poliklinik Innenstadt, LMU, Munich. Professor Navab and many clinical partners believe that in a few years CAMC will take over the current market of existing mobile C-arms. The development of the CAMC project has been done in cooperation with Siemens Healthcare.

We would like to invite you to the workshop on Camera Augmented Mobile C-arm, which will be held on 27th August 2011 at Chirurgische Klinik und Poliklinik Innenstadt, LMU, Munich. We aim to give a comprehensive presentation on the first clinical results, quantification of clinical impacts, advanced C-arm imaging, and potential clinical applications of the CAMC system. You are also encouraged to try on using a clinical CAMC prototype in a simulation clinical environment.

The workshop is organized by Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP), TU Munich in a collaboration with Chirurgische Klinik und Poliklinik Innenstadt, LMU, Munich.

The workshop program can be find here, and please go to contact page for the workshop registration.
