My self-introduction

I was born and grew up in China. I came Germany and planed to finish my PhD degree in TUM when I was 24. I think computers have enough power for many unsolved questions and we just don't find the right way. In next four years I try to create some applications to simplify people's learning procedure and workflow.

Research interests

  • Kinect Applications for education
  • Objects tracking in Operating Room

Active research projects

mirracle

Using the metaphor of a magic mirror, mirracle shows an augmented reality overlay of a CT dataset onto a user standing in front of a big screen. We track the person using Microsoft Kinect. The system could be used for anatomy education or patient consulting. See http://www.mirracle.de for more information.
