Visa requirements for Bavarian residents

Bavarian residents have a possibility to apply for the visa in Consulate General of Russia in Munich (tel: 089-592-503, working hours 9-13). The Organizing Chair of RBC-BME 2008 will organize visa for all participants and guests that have a residence (Hauptwohnsitz) within Bavaria.
Please make sure that all required documents need to be sent to the office by 30 May 2008:

Visa processing is expected to take one week, so we will send back your passport at the beginning of June.

List of documents

Please, check the full list of documents that should be sent to the Organizing Chair:
1.Passport (Original)
2.Copy of "appropriate" medical insurance
3.Medical insurance form
4.Application form
5.One passport-size photo signed on the back

Note, that requirements for EU citizens and non-EU citizens varies because of facilitation of issuing visas between Russia and EU. The visa in the home country may be requested. If you are not EU citizen, please, contact Consulate General of Russia in Munich as soon as possible for additional details.

Detailed information on documents

1.Passport requirements: 2 blank visa-designated pages. For EU citizens: 3 months valid after end of the trip, for non-EU citizens: 6 months;
2.Application form for visa application available online here;
3.For visa application you should have medical insurance valid in Russia. Not all medical insurance companies support this option. You could check your insurance company validity here. If your company is not in the list, you should organize one by yourself for the period of staying in Russia. Copy of the insurance should be attached to other documents;
4.Also you should print and fill out the insurance form available online here.
