Abstract and Bio:

Dr. Sergi Vidal-Sicart is an authority in radio-guided surgery on an international level. He was one of the introducers of the portable gamma cameras in the OR (in particular the Spanish “Sentinella”) and has one of SurgicEye's freehand SPECT system also since February with almost 50 cases until now.
Since in Spain Nuclear Medicine plays a fundamental role during the surgery itself (commonly holding the gamma probe on their own hands), Dr. Sergi Vidal-Sicart is an excellent source of knowledge in the real life use of gamma probes, portable gamma cameras and freehand SPECT in the OR.
