The Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) is offering up to 5 research awards to strongly motivated international undergraduate students interested in improving their research skills in machine learning, medical imaging, computer vision, augmented reality. The students are required to pursue their undergraduate studies outside Germany. The first two awards amount to 4500 Euros and the second three awards to 4000 Euros. These awards will provide financial support for the awardees during their research stay at CAMP for a period of up to three months between June 2021 and October 2021 (We may shift the start day by 3 months due to the current pandemic. The selected students will be informed about such a decision).
To apply, send your
resume and
transcript (no motivation letter required) with the subject "UEAwards2021" before
Feb 15, 2021 to
ueawards@mailnavab.informatik.tu-muenchen.de. Students passing the first selection round will go through a round of one-to-one interviews.
The Awardees will be notified by email before March 1st.
Due to the usual large number of applications, we will
only notify the selected applicants (by March 1st).
We receive many applications from many outstanding candidates. Please consider the highly competitive nature of this program. Moreover, the selection is dependent on the availability of projects and supervisors at CAMP.
The awards can only be bestowed to the selected applicants once they start their research stay at TUM. Due to the current pandemic situation, if the selected students are not able to come to Germany during the specified time limit, the awards cannot be given. However, there would be a possibility of a remote internship.
No prize will be awarded if no application is eligible.
