Background:
A basic framework of augmented reality magic mirror, mirracle, has been developed. We also have a simple game engine for organ rendering. Until now our previous works were always the basic work for the whole organ structure, but the medical students should learn more details about. The heart is always the first and important part in anatomy learning. We want to develop a "serious game" about heart learning for fresh medical student.
A serious game for heart learning, including an interactive learning environment and all the basic medical knowledge of heart.
Methods:
WP1: To discuss with senior medical student to define the learning content of the heart.(Almost finished)
WP2: familiar with the framework and organ rendering engine. Define new ways to display the medical information.
WP3: Try to introduce all the medical knowledge in a serious game using the organ rendering engine. To have more discussion with the medical student, try to find which is the best they want and what we do implement and find the best implementation.
WP4: Design the user study plan and finish final study.(Optional)
