Description
A bachelor / Master student in Informatics/ BMC or similar is needed for a computer vision project on a large-scale MRI study to quantify Multiple sclerosis lesions. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an auto-immune disease that affects the central nervous system and have a variety of potential consequences, including but not limited to, the loss of vision, tremor and limb weakness. During the progression of the disease, the spinal cord is often affected by atrophies and lesions. The segmentation of the spinal cord and lesions provide physicians with a measure of damage on which diagnosis, prognosis and the longitudinal monitoring of the patient are based.
