Abstract
For both visualization and navigation in three-dimensional modalities, the existing visualization means often turn out to be insufficient. In this project I am developing an advanced visualization system, which is based on a common 3-slice-view of a volume. The ability to define rigid transformations in this view, as well as fused visualization of two registered volumes will be integrated. These features will allow the particular application of the alignment of human heart CT data along the heart's major axis.
Task:
- Develoment of advanced visualization system based on common 3-Slice view
Specific
Project based on Slice Visualization Interface developed in Medical Imaging & Visualization Lab Course SS 2004
- Adapt Slice View to requirements
- Integrate rigid transformations in the view
- Particular: Alignment of human heart CT data along the heart's main axis
- Integration into FLTK Widgets
- Ability to display reference set of data, add fading slider
- Feature for MPR-Thickness-Value and MIP-Mode
- Transparency (Alpha-Blending, …)
- Eventual volume rendering & 3D Texture Slice Rendering
