Workshop on Advanced Imaging and Visualization 2009

Hotel Miranda, Lago d'Iseo

This year we organized a workshop on Advanced Imaging and Visualization at Lago d'Iseo in Italy. It was very successful - here are some facts:

  • We had 49 participants (some of them even took the long way from US to join)
  • A keynote talk by Dr. Klaus Klingenbeck-Regn, head of the innovation department at Siemens Healthcare Sector, Angiography and X-ray division
  • 27 scientific presentations on different topics
  • Lots of fruitful discussions
  • fun with hiking/biking/laying at the pool
  • a soccer match from 10pm to 12.15am
  • only one accident, but noone was left behind smile
