Abstract
In the scenario of a wide area tracking (usually larger than 5x5 square meters) the classic marker tracking approach to determine a cameras' pose is limited by the size of the markers and the registration process of these within the large area. Following the ruler principle a new binary marker shall be designend to overcome these shortcomings. Therefore algorithms in marker detection, registration and pose determination must be programmed and evaluated. The marker should consist of repetitive patterns providing relative information about the cameras' pose in relation to the complete marker.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of C++ required. Knowledge of
OpenCv is auxiliary.
