Guided Research: Supporting collaborative map interaction on a tabletop device

Multiple people work around a multitouch table with a map application. The map is viewed from different sides causing a rotated view.
Research question:
How much is the influence of each position (from 0°- 180°) on the navigation performance? Possible orientation cues should be implemented as a help for orientation.
