IPCAI aims at taking the particular aspects of interest and importance to CAI into account directly during the paper review process. IPCAI will include papers presenting novel technical concepts, clinical needs and applications as well as hardware, software and systems and their validation.
Similar to Information Processing in Medical Imaging (IPMI), IPCAI makes sure that the paper selection process is finalized before the submission deadline of both CARS and MICCAI conferences organized in the corresponding year. This allows the authors of the papers not accepted by IPCAI criteria to resubmit a revised version of their paper to one of these conferences.
Each accepted paper will be presented in a 30 minute time slot, including discussion of the paper with the audience.
Papers will be published in LNCS Springer proceedings. The last proceedings of IPCAI 2012 in Pisa were one of the top 50% most downloaded eBooks in the relevant Springer eBook Collection in 2012.
For the first year, IPCAI registered participants temporary will benefit free access to the online version of the conference proceedings on SpringerLink by means of a multiple-user token. Access will be granted for approximately four weeks, starting a few days before the meeting.
