Infrastructure

It is appreciated and useful to perform the term project (SEP, DA, MA, ...) to a certain amount here in Garching, because there is most often a person available whom to ask in case of a certain problem.

Every student has a personal TWiki-page and a project homepage for his Diplomarbeit, ... These have to be maintained by the student. The personal page is Main.MyWikiName and the project's page is e.g. Students.DaMyWikiName for a Diplomarbeit, ... These pages automatically appear in the correspondings TWiki-lists (e.g. People List).

Besides the homes being backuped, we use CVS and SVN for versioning. A documentation to CVS is here.

Studienarbeit (DA, MA, SEP, ...) but also for Seminars, etc.

If you read this page, you're doing some kind of student project for your studies or attend to a lecture, seminar of practice. You will have to take care of several issues during your time here at our chair. the following list tries to summarize all necessary topics, so that you can refer to this page everytime, not to forget anything.

Parallel Responsibilities

(all)

  • Maintain your project's webpage (if existent)
  • Check your sourcecode into the repository (if existent)

Proposal

(only Studienarbeit)

Kick-Off Presentation

(only Studienarbeit)

TalkDuration).

Final Presentation

(all)

Final Report

(all) Die Finale Arbeit (DA/MA/BA) sollte verlinkt werden (optional).

(only Studienarbeit)

Publikation

(only Master and Diploma)
