Investigation of performance log files of freehand SPECT acquisitions for usage characteristics and surgical phase determination The 7th Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics, London, UK, July 2014 (bib) |

Performance logging can be a very strong tool for identification of usage problems or determination of surgical workflow stages. Retroactive analysis of such performance log files leads to better understanding of the surgical procedures. In this work we analyzed several SLNB surgeries of breast cancer patients performed with the intra-operative nuclear imaging and navigation system called freehand SPECT for usage characteristics and surgical workflow durations using its performance log files in an automated manner and demonstrated how such performance log files can be used to determine usage problems during the intervention. | ||
