Training in the digital factory
IFAC Workshop on Manufacturing, Modelling, Management and Control, Budapest, Hungary, Nov. 14 - 16, 2007 (bib)

DiFac (Digital Factory for Human-Oriented Production System) is a framework of methods and tools which is being built upon the theoretical foundations of presence, collaboration and ergonomics. DiFac? will support several factory activities, including training, and is being developed using an iterative process involving industrial end-users. Two pilot cases will be used to prove the effectiveness of the solutions: training workers to respond to an emergency situation within a factory and training remote operators to maintain laser machinery
