Ubiquitous Tracking for Quickly Solving Multi-Sensor Calibration and Tracking Problems
Demonstration at the Fourth IEEE and ACM International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality, Nara, Japan, Nov. 14 - 16, 2007 (bib)

Tracking with multiple sensors, despite being well studied in research, is lacking widespread use in the absence of reusable tools for calibration and sensor fusion. We try to fill this gap by providing a uniform theoretical and software framework called Ubitrack that addresses these issues. The proposed demo will include a number of different trackers. To show the usefulness of our approach, we will let viewers select from a list of tracking and calibration problems arising from the tracker combination. We will then demonstrate how easily the given problem is graphically modeled and implemented using our Ubitrack toolbox.
