A Method for Reduced Risk Trajectory Planning in Image-Guided Keyhole Neurosurgery Conference of the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT 2011), TelAviv, Israel, September 13 - 16, 2011 (bib) |

Surgical tool misplacement in image-guided keyhole brain surgery may result in intracranial hemorrhage and other neurological damage. Therefore, the selected trajectory should be at a safe distance from critical structures. We present new preoperative planning methods for reducing the risk in inserting straight tools in image-guided keyhole neurosurgery. | ||
