Intended audience:
  • Diploma students: Hauptstudium Informatik I (Praktische Informatik)
  • Senior bachelor students with interest in pursuing a bachelor's thesis in this area
  • Master students (Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Bioinformatik)
Prerequisites:
  • Grundstudium Informatik or Bachelor Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Bioinformatik
Exercises:
  • The class consists of both a weekly lecture and weekly exercises!
  • Exercises constitute half of the credits and thus will make up half of the grade (exam questions).
  • Exam questions will be based on experiences gained by attending the excercise meetings and by working on the homework. It will not be enough to just read and understand solutions to the homework. The learning experience and insights gained by struggling with the assignments is essential.
Exams: written, closed book
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Language: assignment sheet in English, answers can be given in English or German
  • Schedule: Thursday, February 24 2, 11:30 - 13:00 in room MO 00.02.001 (MI HS 1)The exam will take place on 22.02.2011 @ 10:00 - 11:30 in room CH 21010
  • There will be a 0.3 bonus for good project presentations

  • Oral exams are available in rare exceptions (e.g.: for international exchange students, visiting from other universities). Exam Schedule

How to borrow a phone for your evaluation

We have 3 mobile phones, which we can borrow to those 5 groups who don't have their own Android phone. You can borrow the phones from us for around 2 days. But please bring them back every day. There is no overnight or weekend booking possible.

We can offer you the following phones:

  • HTC desire with Android version 2.1
  • Motorola milestone with Android version 2.1
  • another HTC desire with Android version 2.1
