Stryker Freiburg - Introduction

Abstract:
Stryker is one of the world’s most important producers of orthopaedic medical technology products and services. Stryker does not consider itself to be simply a product supplier but, as a system partner, offers customer-oriented solutions. The Stryker Corporation’s product portfolio includes endoprotheses; trauma, micro- and spinal implants; orthobiological products; surgical instruments; endoscopic systems; beds; stretchers, and other operating room equipment.

Stryker Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG Freiburg, a subsidiary of the Stryker Group, active worldwide, specializes in the development and production of medical technical products for the areas of osteosynthesis and computer-supported surgery. Stryker Micro Implant & Resorbable Solutions in Freiburg is now one of the world’s leading producers of implantation systems and surgical instruments for the head, hands and feet. Our navigation systems, produced at our Freiburg site, also support intraoperative navigation in neurosurgery, emergency surgery, orthopaedics, spinal surgery and ear, nose and throat surgery. We work towards continuously expanding and improving the treatment potentials for patients – in close collaboration with doctors and clinics. This aim is a commitment for our 700 employees at the Freiburg-im-Breisgau and Mühlheim-Stetten sites: every day they supply our customers with products and services of the highest quality.
