The New Product Development Process for MEDTEC Products - a Holistic Observation
Abstract:
For many businesses, the commercial success is based on the development of new products. The new product development process has multiple interactions with virtually all other business processes within the company. The lecture will address the various demands on product development, the relative importance of key performance indicators, and crucial levers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product development, e.g. lean methods. Typical process risks, as they arise from within development or from interactions with other business processes will be discussed.
