Activities
Innsbruck, a city located right in the middle of the Austrian Alps, offers a wide range of activities. Closed in by steep mountain ridges in the North ("Nordkette") and mid-plateaus in the South, the presence of rock can hardly be overlooked.

We will be within walking distance of the
Innsbruck Cable Railways, a series of a funicular and two cable cars that can bring us in only 20 minutes from the city (560 m above sea level) right below the
Hafelekarspitze (Wikipedia, German) at 2334 m. Apart from hiking, "mountaineering" and climbing (fixed rope), you can try out one of Europe's steepest, longest and most difficult
mountain bike downhill track or the
Flying Fox.
