Software Developer for Multimodal Interventional Imaging Framework
Project type: HiWi
Advisor:

Supervision by:

Abstract
The development of multimodal, interventional imaging requires intuitive user interfaces that combine and display data from different imaging modalities (Ultrasound, SPECT, PET) and other sources (system control messages). Our group has a focus on developing new applications for prostate cancer diagnosis and the definition of new workflows.
Based on prior development within our group your job would be to take over development tasks for our Multimodal Interventional Imaging Framework, implemented in CAMPVis. You will work in close collaboration with our group and clinical partners at Klinikum Rechts der Isar, attend interventions, identify the required improvements of our framework and implement the necessary features yourself. We require good knowledge of C++ and the ability to work independently, some experience with GUI development or image processing is an advantage.
