Development of a GUI for multimodal interventional imaging

Project type: IDP
Advisor: Nassir Navab
Supervision by: Benjamin Frisch

Abstract

The development of multimodal, interventional imaging requires intuitive user interfaces that combine and display data from different imaging modalities (Ultrasound, SPECT, PET) and other sources (system control messages). Our group has a focus on developing new applications for prostate cancer diagnosis and the definition of new workflows.

Based on prior development within our group, your task would be to take over the development of the GUI. You will define, in collaboration with clinical partners, how data should best be visualized and integrated into their workflow. We require good knowledge of C++ and the ability to work independently, some experience with GUI development or image visualization is an advantage.
