Today's medicine revolves a lot around the combination of different imaging and tracking modalities to form a new system for Image-Guided Therapy. Recent research show promising results in the field of image registration and fusion. However, when adopting these novel techniques to the clinical environment, the systems are often inappropriate in terms of usability, design and simplicity. This thesis will investigate user interfaces for medical applications, the student will participate in the development an interface for the EU project EndoTOFPET and evaluate the usability in close cooperation with clinical personal.
