Abstract

The registration of ultrasound images is a complex task. There are several ways how to perform the registration. Feature- and intensity-based registration approaches have both their advantages and inconvenients. Recently, phase-based approaches have been published, which combine advantages from intensity- and feature-based approaches. In this work, we will implement a phase based registration method and compare its results to standard registration approaches.
